High Speed Walkthrough – Baseball Stars 2

80-1

Greetings to all in VG Land! Where it’s still baseball season.

This is in no way a port of the arcade/NeoGeo title. This is more of a sequil to the original NES title as the 8-bit sistem can’t even conceive the 32-bit features.

This turnes out a little better than the first. As you can start with a more potent balanced team. Finding your fielders for a pop fly is still a major pain though. And the music in this cart is probabbly the best I’ve herd in any baseball themed game.

Game 1 Game 2 Game 3 Game 4 Game 5

Hope you enjoyed the ride

High Speed Walkthrough – Barker Bill’s Trick Shooting

Posted in Uncategorized with tags , , , on October 23, 2008 by hyrulehillbilly

Greetings to all in VG Land. This time around we have a little fun just shooting things up in four different carnival stile like events. But who the heck is Barker Bill anyway? This was tooken from Wikipedea.com:

Barker Bill’s Trick Shooting is an NES shooter made by Nintendo. It was released in 1990. It is based on the cartoon show titled Barker Bill’s Cartoon Show, which was created by Paul Terry in 1952. Barker Bill’s Cartoon Show was one of the earliest cartoon shows produced for television (formerly they were typically shown in cinemas and theaters only). Paul Terry, famous for his Terrytoons cartoons, bundled them together and had them presented by Barker Bill, a circus ringleader. Barker Bill was a static image and voiced by a presenter before the actual cartoons began.

True, I didn’t know who he was either as for most of us when the game was released.

It features 4 events. One of them features a cameo of the Duck Hunt mutt. Yes! This time you can shoot him but not without penalty though.

Anyway, I hope you enjoyed the ride.

High Speed Walkthriugh – Bandai Golf Challenge Pebble Beach

Greetings to all in VG Land.

Today we take break with a coupple of rounds on the famous course in California.

Now I’m not very critical against any golf themed game for being too boring. But tihs title came out pretty bland. For this I would recommend Lee Trevino’s Fighting Golf. I once owned that game and I loved it.

Hope you enjoyed the ride.

High Speed Walkthrough – Bandai Baseball: Legends of the Diamond

If I post it they will come.

Greetings to all in VG Land. This week we enter a relm where all of America’s greatest baseball legends’ paths through space and time collide. Baseball historians and fans alike have often wondered how the stars of past eras would fare against each other on the field. Unfortunately this game falls flat in it’s tracks and they will just have to keep dreaming. The mismatched preformance of each player (the Babe couldnt even get a fly ball to deep out field and then a lesser known player knocks one out of the park) together with the unresponsive fieding controlls and generic music is what brings down what couldv’e been a truly remarkible experiennce. Though there are some features that are mildly good. Such as batter character sprites matching the legend’s apppearance. It’s quite short for a baseball title. The player only needs to win four in a row to complete it. Cant wait for Bases Loaded with it’s full season of 100+ games to play.

Ayway, I hope you enjoy the ride.
